Prospect score (PS) is PIR per 40 minutes multiplied by a league-strength weight
(EuroLeague = 1.00 down to 0.35 for the weakest domestic leagues), with a small bonus for
being young for the level and a damper on sample sizes under 300 minutes, and is left blank below 40 minutes played. Untick level-adjust
to rank on raw production instead. Percentiles inside a profile are against that player's own league,
not the whole database. Manual events use the level weight you give them.

Cohort score (CS) ranks a player against everyone born in the same year rather
than against the whole database, on a 0–100 scale. Prospect score answers “how much is he
producing, adjusted for level”, which necessarily buries a 2012-born in an age-group league.
CS answers “how far ahead of his own year is he”, so a 14-year-old dominating EYBL U14 and a
2006 holding his own in the ACB can both read 95+. Sort by CS when you are scouting young,
by PS when you are comparing readiness. CS needs at least eight ranked players in a birth year.
Archetypes are read by role. Types outside a player's position are dropped
and the remaining mix renormalised, and the survivors are renamed for the role actually
playing them — a forward's 3&D reads “3&D Forward”, his rim protection reads
“Defensive Forward”. Guards can no longer come back as Rim Protectors or bigs as Combo Guards.
